The museum is open daily from 9am to 4pm, EAST, except Xmas Day, Boxing Day, Anzac Day and Good Friday, with a large collection of naval and maritime memorabilia: a full size La Balsas raft which succesfully completed a trans Pacific voyage from South America, and many other interesting displays. Admission by donation
Cape Byron Headland Reserve stands on the most easterly point of the Australian mainland, with a spectacular cliff top walking track offering panoramic views of the ocean and north coast hinterland. Visitor centre, shop and lighthouse tours.
Vehicle parking fees apply, pedestrian access is free.

Home to the Margaret Olley Art Centre, touring exhibitions from capital city galleries, and public programs showcasing local talent, the TRG also displays previous Doug Moran Potrait Prize winners, along with other donated and purchased works.
Daily guided tours, and art classes, craft workshops and school holiday programs are also offered.
The galley has cafe and a gift and souvenir shop.

Displays showcase the patterns of settlement, industry and agriculture that have shaped the Valley, and provide insights into contemporary life in the Shire. School groups and special interst groups welcome by arrangement.

A NSW NPWS Historic Site open daily, features a mangrove boardwalk and walking track winding through the site and free use of picnic facilities with electric barbecues.
The Cultural Centre has a museum, and a shop offering aboriginal art, crafts and souvenirs.
Private tours, small groups, school groups and special interest groups of 20+, are welcome. Indigenous guides are available by arrangment, to provide guided interpretive tours through the museum and site with its relics, flora and fauna. $p.o.a.
The shop and museum open Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm. Museum entry fee: Kids/Students/Pensioners $5, Adults $10.* The walk is free.
